What are hockey card comps?
Hockey card comps are recent sold prices for the same or closest NHL card. CardSimple shows eBay, Goldin, and other auction sales so you can see what Young Guns, OPC rookies, and parallels actually sold for.
Hockey card comps
Looking up a hockey card? Search the player, year, set, parallel, and card number to find the closest recent sales.

Try a known card, then add the parallel, number, or grade to tighten the comps.
Step 1
“2015 Upper Deck Connor McDavid Young Guns” is the pattern. For modern NHL, Upper Deck Series 1/2 plus Young Guns is the usual flagship; for vintage, OPC and Topps need to be named.
Step 2
Young Guns, Young Guns Exclusive, and Canvas are different cards. Add the parallel name (and /100 when it’s numbered) so base YG sales don’t dominate the list.
Step 3
1979 Gretzky OPC and Topps are not interchangeable. Name the set, then filter PSA, BGS, or raw — a PSA 10 Young Guns is a different hockey market than the raw copy.

Put “Young Guns”, “Young Guns Exclusive”, or “Canvas” in the query with the player and year. Those parallels have different print runs and prices — searching only the last name will mix them.
No. Search “1979 OPC Wayne Gretzky” or “1979 Topps Wayne Gretzky” as their own queries. They are different cards and the sold prices are not interchangeable.
